When old friends meet again, good things happen! 

 

Jon and Patti met in the early ‘80s, when Jon was in the early stages of his musical life, playing guitar and Patti was pursuing a career in classical singing.  Now, 25 years later, they are collaborating on a new musical venture.

 

A violin maker by trade, Jon has years of experience playing guitar, mandolin, bass and dobro with folk, bluegrass and old-time bands. He brings  instrumental variety to the group and also contributes vocally.

 

Patti made the switch from classical to popular singing in the late ‘90s while looking for information on teaching popular styles in her voice studio.  She fell in love with country music and revived her love of jazz and swing music.  Since then she’s added folk and bluegrass to her list of styles in addition to playing guitar, flute and mandolin.

 

Jon & Patti can play as a duo, or add a fiddle player for a trio.  They can perform on stage, with full sound, or as a strolling act, acoustically, or with portable sound equipment.
